Texas Association of Builders (TAB) awarded the locally owned home builder Edward’s Homes in three categories in the 2020 Star Awards on July 23, 2020, via a virtual ceremony over Zoom. These awards are a tribute to excellence in the home building industry and aim to recognize excellence in all home building industry areas. Homebuilders in Texas coveted the awards for the recognition it brings to the company. According to the TAB website, the association received 614 entries for this year’s Star Awards, bringing up 200 trophies to the winners to their respective categories. The Star Awards were launched in 1992 by the Texas Association of Builders to bring together the homebuilding industry in the Southwest region, including Texas. Edward’s Homes was proudly awarded in three different categories: • Construction Manager of the Year, awarded to Eder Gallardo for 2019 • Rookie of The Year awarded to Cassandra Vasquez for 2019 • Best Promotional Video for 2019 Since its establishment, Edward’s Homes has instituted a strong foundation based on integrity, quality, and excellence. Edward’s Homes has been a staple of El Paso’s housing market for nearly two decades. It has committed to the El Paso community. It is not the first time a nation-wide institution recognized Edward’s Home for its achievements and professionalism. In 2007, Edward’s Homes earned an “A” rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and now has also secured three places in the TAB 2020 Star Awards.
